MarzMethod Horse Management
Animal Welfare
Christina and her family are passionate animal lovers and advocates for cruelty free, empathetic animal handling. They have rescued and re-homed countless dogs, cats and horses over the years.
Christina has served as an advisor for several equine therapy institutions, for the mounted police in Ecuador, for breeding barns and veterinarian hospitals.
Her own herd consists of very special horses from all walks of life that have been rescued and rehabilitated to be the best and most sensitive emotional support partners ever.
In horse rescue, money and information are scarce. Rehabilitating just one horse can cost thousands of dollars and many rescued herds live in places with a lack of professional support. One way of helping horses worldwide is helping their keepers learn about Horse Guided Empowerment®.
- HGE creates a sustainable income for the herd
- HGE helps abused horses to trust again
- HGE has a worldwide community of experts
One way of supporting international horse-welfare is helping other rescue horse owners to create a sustainable income for their herds:
Supported Herds
In the past 5 years, Christina has given 56 full or partial scholarships to supporters of rescued horses worldwide:

- Claudia on the Galapagos island Sta Cruz (15 horses) www.GalapagosHorseFriendsofficial.com
- Constanza in Chile (6 horses + social therapies) www.instagram.com/spiritecc/
Christina serves on the board of two animal welfare organizations. The experts in these organizations have been of great help as advisors for many herds.

- Fundación Galapagos Horse Friends, Ecuador, www.galapagoshorsefriendsofficial.com
