Ahead of the Bezos-Sánchez wedding in Venice, ¡Hola! US invited me as one of four experts to analyze the couple's body language. I looked at their posture, hand placement, and mirroring patterns and found signs of genuine closeness that are very hard to fake.

¡Hola! US reached out to me alongside three other body language experts to analyze photos of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez ahead of their Venice wedding. It was a fun and different kind of project for me.
What I observed
In all the photos, their body language matched closely. Bodies angled toward each other, steps in sync. That kind of mirroring is very hard to fake and it shows genuine closeness. I also noticed small details like mirrored handholds with thumbs on top and relaxed, closed fingers during hugs. These are signs of a comfortable, non-performative bond.
A different side of my work
People sometimes forget that my background is in psychology, not just horses. Reading body language is something I do every day in my practice, whether it's between a client and a horse or between two people. This was a lovely opportunity to apply that skill in a completely different context.
